DESCRIPTION:
    CI-2045Is a carbon based screen printable polymer thick film.CI-2045is commonly printed over Silver Polymer Thick Film Inks such as CI-1001. Overprinting withCI-2045can help prevent Silver Sulfating & Silver migration.CI-2045can also act as a conductive lubricant.CI-2045offers adhesion to a wide spectrum of substrates including polyester, paper, cloth, and most plastic films.CI-2045has been formulated to have superior flexibility, and fast curing properties.CI-2045is application ready with no dilution needed.

APPLICATION INFORMATION：
•Screen printCI-2045with any screen emulsion/mesh combination that yields a wet film thickness of 0.4-0.8 mils. The dry film will yield a dry film thickness of 0.4-0.6 mils.
•Typical screens used are180-220mesh with a 1.0 mil emulsion.
•Stainless steel fabric can be used to increase dry film thickness.
•Complete cure can be confirmed by re-curing the print a second time, and testing the electrical resistance. The electrical resistance should not decrease by more than 3%.
•Typically, it is not possible to over cureCI-2045. Added curing will improve the flexibility and conductivity properties.
•CI-2045can also be cured with infrared energy. This method often provides improved properties over conventional heat curing.

CURE SCHEDULE：
CI-2045does not require any leveling time and can be forced cured immediately after printing. Typical forced curing is for30minutes at120°C.
 
CLEAN UP：
CI-2045can be cleaned up with M.E.K (Methyl Ethyl Ketone) or a blend of solvents that will completely clean a cured film. Screens and printing tools should be allowed to dry completely before reuse. To avoid possible squeegee swelling, a solvent resistant material such as polyurethane should be used. Typically a high durometer squeegee (70-80A) will provide the best results.
 
STORAGE AND HANDLING：
 •Shelf life is six (6) months in an unopened container, stored below25oC.
•Store product below25oF for maximum shelf life and minimal solvent loss. Avoid high temperature exposure.
•It issuggestedthat the product be stored at0-5oCto increase shelf life. The product must be conditioned back to room temperature before use.
