Wintek's September consolidated sales increased 10% sequentially to NT$3.54 billion (US$109.95 million), driven by strong shipments of touch panels and a seasonal upturn in demand for TFT LCD panels.

7 g% q- H4 X# SWintek expects that touch panel shipments, which account for about 30% of the company's sales, will remain at high levels in the fourth quarter. For the TFT LCD segment, Wintek expects seasonality to bring slight shipment growth for the fourth quarter.

Wintek's utilization rate has risen back above 50% because of increases in orders, according to market sources.
